I am not a Red Sox fan. Never have a never will be. However my nephew is a die hard Red Sox fan. My nephew is a good kid. He is actually attending WestPointe in a little under a month. So for a last hurray his aunt took him to Tampa today for the Rays vs. Red Sox tonight. They arrived this morning and went to the mall.
Who happened to be shopping, Josh Beckett. Also with Josh is Jon Lester. My nephew gets up some courage and asks for a n autograph. Josh Beckett is a jerk and rudely says no in a way a big fan won't ever forget. I understand he wants to be left alone but why be that rude. Lester however is gracious and nice and signs away. Thank you Jon Lester for doing that. Josh Beckett, shame on you.

Another reason for me to dislike the guy. Sorry that your nephew had such a bad experience. Glad Lester was more gracious and he came away with something.
ReplyDeletethat's terrible. Good thing Lester signed. The only athletes I've run into recently were Shayne Skov and Andrew Luck and they were both kind enough to take pictures and sign. Congratulations to your newphew and good luck to him.
