My 1/1 Continued...Contest

Well just thinking about my good fortune. I am going to place my 1/1 on Ebay and start the auction off at .99 cents. I like to let my auctions ride for some reason. So to the contest. The person who can guess or get the closest to my ending auction price will win a couple really nice cards I will post later. Lets say have your guesses in by Friday. My 1/1 Bowman Sterling

I joined a break from Crazy8's again. Topps Jumbo and Bowman Sterling. I figured I would try and went for the Royals. And...........I got a 1/1.............and its sick.............and I going to have some walking around money now..........................

2012 Press Pass Essential Elvis 2 Box Break Results

I bought my couple of boxes of 2012 Press Pass Essential Elvis. My fiancee is a huge fan of Elvis so it was kind of a box break for both of us. However I did say if I pulled a cut auto, it was going to help pay for wedding haha.
I really like buying things a little different, straying away from the normal and getting something that will surprise me no matter what the hits are.

First up are the base. The only thing I don't like is the silver border drowns out the black and white photos. But the color photos really pop out. 

The holo-foils on the other hand I like very much. I'm like moth's to a flame when I see a holo-foil. 

The autographs are f%$*ing awesome. I tell you the scans do NOT do them justice. They are on-card and the blue ink is very prominent. 2 Autos of Mary Tyler Moore. Plus George Kalinsky is perhaps the most famous Musical Photographer of all time. For Instance.......

and he also took a lot of Sports....

And now for the Elvis hits....

The tweed Jacket is pretty neat piece. Neither are numbered, but hell Elvis still wore these at one time. 

All in all for 50 bucks a box and 3 hits Autos/Mem. Awesome product. 

2012 Topps and I Went "Rally Squirrel" Hunting!!!!!

Future Mrs. Belk and I had a lovely dinner at Wolfman Pizza tonight. We need some groceries so off to Target we went. Usually stuff nothing new. I bought a Blaster of 2012 Topps and first pack yielded this beauty............

Wish I would have found it when it was selling for 600 bucks, but oh well I still might get a little for it and maybe even get another box of Ali. 

Now the rest of the box was not bad. I got the "Manupatch" of Lou Gehrig. All in all I like 2012 Topps. I like the Golden Moments inserts. What do all you guys think?

2011 Football Season

Wow, just thinking back to this year. I have not bought a single box of any 2011 Football anything. I have bought a couple retail packs and a few singles, but no box. I am actually a little shocked and well pretty happy about this fact. I did not not succumb to the weakness of Cam Newton craziness or any of the other high dollar possible hits.
Too be honest I have kind of lost the thrill seeking chase of the "big hit". I am planning to buy a couple boxes of 2012 Press Pass Essetial Elvis, not for the hits but my fiancee is an Elvis nut. Also going to buy a box of 2012 Press Pass Total Memorabilia. That looks interesting.
I wonder if I can go the whole 2012 NFL season without purchasing a hobby box.??
