Needless to say my hopes for a Joe DiMaggio autograph shot through the roof. I am thinking man this could be a decisive piece of my collection. My palms began to sweat my knees became weak and then I opened the cover and there is ink what does it say oh man this is it.................
Damn. I don't know who Jay Parr Jr. is. Being I was born in 1980 I also don't remember Christmas 1953. I also have no clue who Francis Ellis is.
Doubt began to come to me. There is no auto, but on the bright side what a cool book to have now. I flip through the pages and look at the pictures and then.....
Heart stopped. Wow. Is this a real auto it looks too good and looks too real. I stand back for a moment and am completely unsure what I have here. I did not pay a lot for this mans collection, as too be honest I was going to remove some of the pictures from his framing and redo for myself and add my own pictures. Then this book happened. Do I send this in to PSA? Do I get it checked out? What do I do? Help me? And again I flip through the pages to find this.
WOW. I know who Mr. Mint is. Okay this is the real deal. Ladies and Gentlemen this is now a vital piece of my collection. I wish there was a number to look up, but unfortunately there is not. I am thinking of sending it to PSA and getting a grade on it and double checked.
That leaves one more collection, what to do with it. How do I display it? Do I display it? DO I send it in? Any input from you readers would be very helpful.

Awesome addition!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what you should do with it but that is a pretty amazing find. Hey at least it isn't faded from sun exposure.
ReplyDeleteWow... huge score! Congratulations. If it were me, I'd keep the book intact. However, I've seen people create amazing displays from cut signatures. Have fun with whatever decision you go with.
